Body Electronics Design Engineer - 0778 - £30.78/hr PAYE

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Body Electronics Design Engineer to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Body Electronics Design Engineer role is based in Cranfield and offers a favourable rate of £30.78 per hour PAYE and the opportunity to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.

As a Body Electronics Design Engineer, you will apply and integrate electrical and electronic components and systems to European vehicles.

In your first few weeks in this Body Electronics Design Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Apply and integrate electrical and electronic components and systems to European vehicles
• Releasing and maintaining the vehicle BOM
• Capture of customer requirements and creation of high-level specs
• Close coordination and cooperation with global Alliance R&D centres
• Management of tier 1 suppliers to achieve Q, C, T targets
• Creation and maintenance of end-of-line configuration data

• Knowledge of CAN, CAN tools and vehicle diagnostics
• A valid driving license
• Relevant experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of electrical theory and electronic devices
