About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education tailored to the unique needs of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Working closely with a team of dedicated professionals to develop individualised learning plans.
  • Utilising innovative teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborating with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
