As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their teachers and enhancing the educational experience of their students. You will work closely with teachers to assist in the delivery of lessons, provide one-on-one support to students, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Provide individual and small group support to students who need extra help.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with students.
