Job Title: Data Control Specialist

Location: Bristol, UK

Contract Duration: 6 months with likely extension for a further 6 months.

We are seeking a temporary Data Control Specialist to join our clients collaborative and forward-thinking manufacturing team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to significant projects and support the future of energy technology.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Data Control Specialist, you will ensure data review and completeness for all records and operations.
• The Data Control Specialist will compile data books/product specifications and ensure their accuracy before uploading to the repository system or presenting to the customer’s inspector for final review.
• Collaborate with quality control and manufacturing planning teams as a Data Control Specialist to prepare product data books/product specifications and schedule customer inspections.
• Participate in quality audits, material review boards, kaizens, or root cause analysis as needed, in your capacity as a Data Control Specialist.
• Maintain the structure, quality, presentation, and legibility of data books to meet customer requirements and company standards as a Data Control Specialist.
• Liaise with Project Quality Engineers and Project Planners to establish necessary documentation in your role as a Data Control Specialist.
• Support the generation of KPI reports using MS Excel, ERP, and/or Support Centre, with the expertise of a Data Control Specialist.
• Track project hours and report progress of records compilation to customers, fulfilling your duties as a Data Control Specialist.
• Adhere to competency management program requirements, ensuring the highest standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to comprehend Bill of Materials, relevant materials certifications, and specifications.
• Experience with management system databases and systems such as SAP, Oracle, Agility, and LIMS.
• Training will be provided as necessary to excel as a Data Control Specialist.
