Electrical Project Manager

Red Rock Consultants are working with an outstanding and well-established electrical and renewable energy engineering contractor.

Are you an experienced Electric Vehicle Project Manager or an Electrical Project Manager looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Manager with or without experience in EV points to join our clients busy and growing team in Birmingham.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To lead on the delivery of the actions set out in the EV Charging Strategy and related strategies as delegated to the postholder, in accordance with wider corporate and strategy objectives.
• To undertake such projects with minimal management oversight including representing the section and presenting projects for decision.
• To work effectively both internally across departments, and externally in partnerships, to deliver the programme, identify opportunities for joint initiatives and new sources of funding.
• Co-ordinate the procurement of works and professional services. This includes writing briefs and specifications, preparing contract documents, obtaining quotations and tenders, and letting and managing subsequent contracts.

Previous experience in Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure would be an advantage for this role.

This is a full-time contract position.
