A fantastic and rare opportunity for a Structural Engineering Manager to join one of the most prestigious nuclear defence projects in the UK on a long term contract has arisen.

  • Job Title - Structural Engineering Manager

  • Contract length - 18 Months
  • Pay Rates - £63.29 Hour Umbrella

This role will be fantastic for a very experienced structural engineering manager who is coming from nuclear/defence background.

Key Deliverables/Experiences:

  • A strong background in nuclear/defence in a structural engineering position.
  • Act as the lead engineer responsible for representing the project delivery in regards to timings, safety, value and schedule adherence.
  • Be the technical lead for your expertise and assist in all of the complex needs of such a large project.
  • Collaborate and work with the senior engineering manager to ensure suitability and appropriateness for the engineering requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of focus for all design and change that is required/suggested and ensure that it aligns with project scope and budget
  • Manage design intent and configurations from inception to project handover while providing functional support for change implementation and improvement requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or degree qualification and ideally chartered
  • Vast CDM knowledge
  • A heathy background in civil/structural engineering
  • Demonstrable experience in leadership and team management
