Salary Details: £11.44 per hour

We are pleased to be recruiting a Factory Operative for our client based in Sheffield S9.

This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday.

The hours of work are 8am to 4pm with occasional overtime.

The hourly rate starts at £11.44 per hr plus overtime at time and a half. The hourly rate increases as training is completed and skill increases. This is subject to internal assessment.

There will be training on a variety of metal treatment so any previous experience will be an advantage.

Experience in processes such as heat treatment, forging or galvanising would be ideal.

The environment is indoors but with open roller doors, so warm in summer and cool in winter.

Heavy lifting is involved as well as standing for extended periods.

A good level of literacy is required to read written instructions and also to complete process paperwork.
