A world leading nuclear defence company is looking to bring on board a senior planner to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK nuclear defence sector.

  • Job Title - Senior Planner
  • Location - Reading
  • Contract length - 18 Months
  • Pay Rates - £58.77 hour

This role will be fantastic for a senior planner who is coming from a heavily regulated industry and is okay with the complexity of a role in the nuclear/defence sector.

Minimum requirements/experiences:

  • Experience in a senior planner role
  • Time spent working on a large project controls team and EVM expertise and analysis for projects to produce accurate and timely forecast information.
  • Good experience of the EV variance analysis for schedule performance (SPI)
  • Develop the continuous improvement of the end-to-end planning process and production/maintenance of associated policies and procedures.
  • Provision of Planning resource for peer reviews as appropriate.
  • Delivery of long range operational integrated Programme Planning activities
  • Supporting the delivery of Planning tools and EVMS, templates and training to internal customers.
  • Reviewing project WBS and agreeing / recommending changes to the Project's Control Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a senior planner role  
  • Highly regulated sector experiences (nuclear is preferred and desired)
  • Degree qualified
  • Complete understanding of the role of a senior planner
