The opportunity
Our client is a large engineering organisation who are leaders in multiple sectors, including the nuclear industry. Due to increased project expansion, we are currently searching for an experienced EC&I Designers of all levels of experience, to join our dynamic nuclear team.

The role
This role has been deemed Inside IR35
As an EC&I Designer, your role will be based in Westlakes, Cumbria alongside Hyrbrid working.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
  • You will, with guidance and assistance from the Engineering department, produce Engineering Design Work Packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification, or assessment of engineering), that satisfy legal and functional requirements.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
  • Significant Experience in the use of AutoCAD
  • Must have significant demonstratable experience in CE&I Project Delivery
  • Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services, process instrumentation, and mechanical handling   equipment.
  • Competent in the application of CDM Regulations
  • Competent in the application of IET wiring Regulations.
  • Experience of space management, cable routing and cable management
  • Can work as part of an integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
It’s great if you also have the following
  • Experience with Radiometric Systems.
  • Experience delivering against BS 61508.
  • Experience in delivering within Sellafield Limited Management System.
