Our client is a large engineering organisation who are leaders in multiple sectors, including the nuclear industry. Due to increased project expansion, we are currently searching for an experienced EC&I Designers of all levels of experience, to join our dynamic nuclear team.
The role
This role has been deemed Inside IR35
As an EC&I Designer, your role will be based in Westlakes, Cumbria alongside Hyrbrid working.

The role
This role has been deemed Inside IR35
As an EC&I Designer, your role will be based in Westlakes, Cumbria alongside Hyrbrid working.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- You will, with guidance and assistance from the Engineering department, produce Engineering Design Work Packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification, or assessment of engineering), that satisfy legal and functional requirements.
- Significant Experience in the use of AutoCAD
- Must have significant demonstratable experience in CE&I Project Delivery
- Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services, process instrumentation, and mechanical handling equipment.
- Competent in the application of CDM Regulations
- Competent in the application of IET wiring Regulations.
- Experience of space management, cable routing and cable management
- Can work as part of an integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Radiometric Systems.
- Experience delivering against BS 61508.
- Experience in delivering within Sellafield Limited Management System.
