Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: M1 - M6 Teaching Scale - determined by experience

As an English teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing long and short-term planning in line with the national curriculum
• Assessing pupils learning and development
• Teaching clearly structured lessons which interest and motivate pupils
• Guiding and supporting students through their educational journey, ensuring growth in both academics and character.

To Thrive in this role, you will need:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to obtain one
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are highly encouraged to apply
• A passion for transforming the lives of students
• Experience working with SEND and behaviour management would be advantageous

About the school...

Our partnered school is a mixed-day/residential special school for children from year 4 to year 11. Pupils at the school have been assessed as having social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Many students also have diagnoses including ADHD, ASC, PTSD, PDA, ODD and attachment disorder.

The school is a place where everyone works together to support students in developing their academic and social skills whilst encouraging growth in their emotional and mental health and wellbeing.
