About the Role: Join our dedicated team at a highly regarded SEMH school in Runcorn, where you will play a crucial role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviour.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress, helping to adapt strategies to meet their needs.
• Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage their academic and personal development.

Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology (or a related field).
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
