Positive Behaviour Support Assistant

EdEx is actively recruiting Positive Behaviour Support Assistants for an Outstanding Secondary School in the borough of Westminster. This school has brilliant SEN facilities to support pupils with a variety of SEN and Learning Difficulties and allow them to excel throughout their schooling. This specialised role requires a candidate with an understanding of Autism and an appreciation of positive behaviour support.

The Role - Positive Behaviour Support Assistant

• Supporting in classes as assigned across KS3, KS4, KS5
• Leasing with SLT, SENCO and Teachers on pupil performance and devising action plans
• Supporting students with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties 1:1 and in group sessions with their academics and well-being
• £105 - £110 per day
• Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm, Long-term

The Ideal Candidate - Positive Behaviour Support Assistant

• Understanding and experience working with pupils with autism and severe learning difficulty
• Appreciating of positive behaviour support methods
• Dedicated to providing high-quality care and support for pupils with SEND
• Have a 2:1 or 1:1 from a reputable university
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
