A large secondary school in Coventry are seeking to appoint a Drama Teacher to start work in September 2024. The post is on a term by term basis, lasting until at least July 2025, with the potential of leading to a long-term contract for the right Drama Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach and has high expectations of learning.

Drama will make up most of the timetable for this position but some experience in other Performing Arts subjects including Drama and Music is desired if cover is required on less busy days.

In return, the Drama Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.

Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants need to have:

• QTS with a Performing Arts specialism
• Experience teaching Drama up to at least KS4
• Strong classroom management
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
