Offshore Installation Manager required for a major offshore wind developer based in Denmark
Responsibilities
- Supervising work offshore for short spells
- Assisting in the back office with various tasks related to the work scope such as developing contracts, scope supervision
- Reviewing or developing offshore installation schedules
Requirements
- Great numeracy skills and a logical mind. High level of fluency in speaking and writing English, although it does not have to be your first language
- Good knowledge of the wind turbine installation vessel market and the most common installation concepts
- Understand how to achieve safe and high-quality construction or engineering project outcomes
- Great communication skills and are able to liaise and cooperate with both client colleagues and counterparts from our suppliers
- A degree or equivalent in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, or equivalent
- Some experience of managing offshore installation scopes, similar construction scopes and/or including drafting contract specifications for heavy lifting, deck layout, and vessel mobilization
