Expleo are seeking an Automotive Exteriors Engineers to work within a globally successful automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.

The successful Exteriors Engineer will be required to develop exterior trim parts including bumpers / grills / spoilers.

Responsibilities of the Exteriors Engineer include:

* Development of exterior trim parts
* Design release of parts on time and on budget
* Supplier management including design, test, quality and timing to achieve key project milestones
* Budget calculation and allocation of parts
* Root cause analysis, reporting of concerns and part development and / or delivery issues
* Participate in design reviews, sharing knowledge and experience

Background and experience required for the Exteriors Engineer position:

* You will ideally be degree educated
* Experience of Exteriors parts development within Automotive is essential
* Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge of NX CAD and TeamCenter is desirable

Travel is required within the role of Exteriors Engineer, including travel to other sites to provide build support and styling design reviews, and also to suppliers for part inspections and technical meetings.
