Job Title: Fire Installation Engineer

Location: England

Rate: £220 p/day

We are seeking an experienced Fire Installation Engineer in England who will carry out installations, testing, and commissioning of various fire alarm systems. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of fire safety systems, and adherence to all health and safety regulations.

Description of contract/programme of works:

• Installation of various fire alarm systems, including but not limited to addressable and conventional systems.
• First and second fixing of fire alarm components.
• Cable pulling, termination, and system testing to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Commissioning of fire alarm systems, setting up and programming as per project requirements.
• Working across various sites, ensuring timely and efficient completion of work.

Experience required:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in fire installation engineering, with a portfolio of completed fire alarm system installations.
• Proficiency in working with a range of fire alarm systems.
• Capable of reading and interpreting installation blueprints and schematics.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

• ECS Card/CSCS Card is essential for demonstrating compliance with industry safety standards.
• Certifications such as FIA, or manufacturer-specific training for systems like Advanced, Gent, Notifier, etc.
• Contractors must supply their own hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
