We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our client school as Learning Support Assistants. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing additional support and guidance to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Individualised Support: Working closely with students, both in and out of the classroom, to provide tailored support that addresses their specific learning needs and challenges.
  2. Assistance with Learning Activities: Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and learning activities, ensuring that all students are engaged and supported throughout the learning process.
  3. Behaviour Management: Supporting students in managing their behaviour and emotions, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
  4. Assessment and Progress Tracking: Helping to assess student progress and development, providing feedback to teachers and parents on areas for improvement and success.
  5. Building Relationships: Developing positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning community.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues alike.
  • Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a willingness to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Have previous experience working in a similar role or a strong desire to learn and develop in the field of education.

You are required to have the following:

  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
