Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading company in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and successful organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects
- Prepare and analyze contractor and supplier quotations
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents
- Evaluate and negotiate variations, claims, and disputes
- Provide advice on contractual matters
- Monitor project progress and collaborate with the project team
- Review and assess completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in Quantity Surveying
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proficient in relevant software applications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Highways Experience
This position is based in Bath, with the option for hybrid working. The contract duration is 8-12 months. Our client offers a daily rate of £500.
