Childrens Social Worker

Rate: £37 per hour

Ashberry are looking for a fast paced duty qualified Social Worker to deliver excellent quality assessments.  With an excellent ability to talk children, be outcome focussed, a team player and able to deliver efficient practice .  The role will include completing direct work with every child, holding family network meetings, and creating family plans that will bring about change.

The aim is for 25 day assessments too.  You will have excellent management skills with a supportive team, however you will need the ability to work with the children straight away!

Ashberry Recruitment would ask that applicants meet the following:

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
• Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups.
• Possess knowledge of service needs.
• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
