Telford
£13+ per hour
Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Planning Validation Officer based in Telford on a contract basis.
The Job:
- Answer correspondence coming into the service via phone and email, offering complex technical advice for applicants, internal and external customers.
- Assess and register planning applications, managing compliance compliance, working and assessing statutory planning fee legislation and national/local requirements, assessing planning permission is required.
- Manage and administrate Planning appeals and Public Inquiries, including venue bookings and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Identify and address reports of priority services related to dangerous structures and planning enforcement matters.
- Assist with reports, KPIs and similar.
The Candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications/experience.
- Previous experience in Planning and Validation or similar roles.
- Experience within a Local Authority environment is beneficial.
