The Project:

We are lucky to be working with a prestigious client based in London, working on a structural groundworks project in order to build below prexisting buildings, using skills like underpinning, excavation, and mining. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Reinforcement Techniques: Implementing various reinforcement techniques such as rock bolting, shotcreting, grouting, and steel installation to strengthen structural components. 
• Underground Work: Conducting underground excavations and tunneling activities to access structural elements in need of reinforcement.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the implementation of safety procedures during mining and reinforcement activities.
• Ensure all machinery is in good working condition before work commences on site.
• Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on the construction site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in mining, tunneling, or underground construction, with a focus on structural reinforcement techniques preferred.
• Relevant CPCS and/or CSCS Qualification essential.
• Safety Critical Medical
