Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: CV9 3AH
Start date: ASAP
Contract duration: 3+ months
Working hours: Mon - Fri, 07:00 - 16:15, 37 hours p/w
Pay rate: £13.50 p/h
Job purpose:
To work as a Grounds Maintenance operative with the ability to work on a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks, which includes grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance, playground inspections, marking out sports pitches and some low level tree work.
Skills and experience:
- Able to carry out a physically demanding role and able to work outside in all weathers.
- Able to use a ride on mower and a range of power tools i.e. strimmer/hedge trimmer.
- Able to work under minimum supervision.
- Experience in grounds maintenance and/or NVQ Level 2 in horticulture.
- Knowledge of the requirements of Health and Safety in respect of horticultural duties
