Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Association based in London on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working a mixture of early and late shifts on a rota basis.
Key Duties:
- Providing individual support to clients of the housing association’s supported living schemes
- Promoting independence and empowerment
- Assisting clients with day-to-day tenancy issues, payment of rent, claiming benefits, and preparing units to let
- Undertaking referrals and assessments of potential clients, working with them to identify housing solutions
- Completing support plans, risk assessments and other interventions
- Maintaining database systems
Requirements:
- Previous experience of providing housing support to vulnerable clients
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enhanced DBS
- Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the service
