About the Role: As a SEN Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering tailored lessons and learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of students with SEN, fostering academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized support strategies.
  • Utilising your expertise in SEN pedagogy and best practices to differentiate instruction, adapt resources, and provide appropriate accommodations and modifications.
  • Embracing creativity and innovation in your teaching approach, employing a variety of engaging activities, technologies, and teaching methodologies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Monitoring student progress, assessing learning outcomes, and providing timely feedback to support continuous improvement and attainment.

Academic Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Specialised training or experience in SEN teaching and interventions, ideally with a focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • A strong understanding of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices in inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through us.
  • Two professional child-related references.
  • An updated CV.
