GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their client school in Hammersmith & Fulham. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to inspire, support, and empower students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEMH needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve academic and personal success.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
• Using effective behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Delivering targeted interventions and support programs to address specific social, emotional, and behavioural issues.
• Building strong relationships with students, fostering a sense of trust, safety, and belonging.
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic support and continuity of care for students.

Mandatory Requirements:

• The Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through us.
• Two professional child-related references.
• An updated CV.
