About the Role:

The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently look for a Project Technical Manager to join a Global Engineering and Construction client for the Offshore Energy Sector

Key Responsibilities Include:

Define project engineering organisation charts, staffing the roles with engineering Head of Department

Ensure review of contractual documents engineering related interfacing with other project functions

Ensure correct consideration and application of technological requirements in all project phases up to the handing over of the plant to the Client.

Participate in defining the overall project planning and scheduling, directly supervising the finalization of engineering plans and schedule.

Promote and participate in the induction of the engineering team to contract/project requirements.

Participate in risk management and other inter-functional reviews for the engineering concerns.

Coordinate execution of multidisciplinary engineering activities, and manage activities assigned to external Saipem Engineering Centres and/or other Engineering Companies involved in the project.

Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination verifying adequacy and consistency of design solutions.

Take necessary technical decisions in case of unresolved conflicts between disciplines, ensuring that the engineering team properly interfaces with other project team members.

What you need to Succeed

  • Experience working in a busy office environment in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Confident collaborator with the ability to attend and chair vendor meetings following training.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to define and implement project engineering organisation charts.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
