Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and efficiency of their manufacturing processes.



What you'll be doing


As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Working against a planned maintenance schedule, you will conduct both planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime. This will include analyzing major breakdowns, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to prevent recurring issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in achieving efficient operations and preventing disruptions to the manufacturing process.



What can you offer us?


To be successful in this role, you should have a hands-on approach to machine maintenance. You will need to have significant experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment. An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is also required. Additionally, you should have your own tools and possess a proactive and collaborative attitude, contributing positively to the Maintenance team.
This is a rotating shift position, with weekly shifts from 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday.
Please note that outside IR35 regulations apply for this role.
