Role: Project Engineer / Manager (electricity transmission/distribution networks)

Location: Hybrid (one day in Warwick)

Duration: 6 Months

Overview

The Project Engineer role is required for delivery of Network Refresh Programme to act as the technical interface with the project delivery teams.

This role will ensure that Supplier delivery teams are delivering agreed outcomes that are compliant with the applicable practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications pertaining to working in operational environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the scheme team and actively manage key stakeholders to ensure their timely input and agreement to the selection, development and delivery of investments, pursuant to timely
• Develop the least cost, optimal, efficient and safe solution in line with CDM Regulations and SHESQ considerations. Document all residual design issues, CDM issues, hazards and risks.
• Enact the role of Client's Delegated Representative and where appropriate and support Principal Designer under CDM
• Maintain full authorisation per procedures to carry out
• Ensure that core data for the site activities is maintained to the highest levels of quality and accuracy.

Technical Skills

• Proficient understanding and demonstrable working knowledge of key business processes and project management g
• Demonstrable technical knowledge or ability to gain understanding of the Optel Telecommunication System in electricity transmission/distribution networks.
• Understanding of RIIO mechanisms and the way that delivers revenue under the regulatory
• Proficient knowledge of the application of CDM, Safety and Environmental
