Class 1 Driver

Odin Recruitment are working with a valued client in the Formby area. The client are one of the countries leading supplier of plants.
We are looking for an Class 1 driver who can help for approximately 4-6 weeks and cover site to site work and deliveries to a regional distribution centre. The work is a mix of Class 1 and Class 2, and is mostly (I’d say 90%) bay to bay work, with the rest being loading using a tail lift.
The work is available from this Saturday (a trial day on Friday with one of their other drivers) and will be Saturday-Wednesday working week, hours from 7am-6pm but it depends on the work volume. It will be day work, no overnights.
Duties will include loading and unloading the vehicle and securing the load. Their products are almost always on Danish Plant trolleys, which are a bit like roller cages.
You will be working out of their Formby nursery.
