We are now looking for a Face-to-Face Fundraiser to join us in Hastings on a flexible, zero-hours contract. You may work 3-5 days per week, including weekends.

The Role

As a Face-to-Face Fundraiser, you will help us raise vital funds through increasing our regular support and membership.

Specifically, you will work as part of a face-to-face (F2F) team, signing up new regular supporters and members through approaching and appropriately persuading members of the public.

Engaging in conversations with the public, you will attend events, beaches, private sites and RNLI locations to engage with potential supporters and provide water safety messages.

Working with other RNLI departments at large F2F events, you will ensure relevant targets are met and that core messages and values are delivered professionally and accurately.

Additionally, you will:

- Capture supporter data in compliance with GDPR guidelines
- Be responsible for hire vehicles and logging any damage
- Ensure RNLI best practice and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide advice to senior team members of any relevant queries

About You

To be considered as a Face-to-Face Fundraiser, you will need:

- The ability to work towards set targets
- The ability to work well in a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Any experience of fundraising would be beneficial to your application.
