Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide Process Engineering support to our UK operations, with a focus on enhancing safety, environmental sustainability, reliability, and production efficiency. The Senior Process Engineer will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and supporting projects and modifications as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations, legislative requirements, and company HSES procedures.
  • Provide expert Process Engineering support to UK operations, including the assessment and development of engineering workscopes.
  • Develop and review detailed calculations, process engineering datasheets, simulation models, and drawings to meet operational requirements.
  • Participate in process safety reviews such as HAZOP and LOPA, and ensure timely closure of review actions.
  • Offer technical support to Operations teams and assist in challenging the technical content and cost of modification projects.
  • Contribute to the Technical Work Management process for proposed studies, modifications, and projects.
  • Actively participate in Research and Development projects as required.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by the manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification (HND/HNC) with preferable qualifications/experience and/or vocational certificates.
  • Membership of a professional body and working towards Chartership preferred.
  • Demonstrated operational and engineering experience, preferably with offshore experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory environment and processes related to HSE objectives.
  • Familiarity with corporate and local budget, maintenance, and project management processes and tools.
  • Self-driven with strong personal leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and networking abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and implementing change.
  • Ability to set and achieve ambitious yet realistic goals consistently.
