TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new social housing project in Birmingham. They are looking for experienced Roofers to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team. Paying up to £180 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Title: Roofer
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm)
Contract: Social Housing
Pay rate: up to £180 per day
Location: 599-603 College Road, Kingstanding, Birmingham, West Midlands, West Midlands, B44 0AY, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspections of roofs and diagnose remedial repair works on occupied properties
- Have experience in flat & pitched roof repairs - slate, concrete tiles, felt, etc
- Be able to work at height safely
- Trained on working on ladders, scaffolds, Tetra systems, etc
- Full driving license
- Be able to work independently
- Process works via a mobile device
- Provide good customer service
- Be able to communicate effectively with residents, planners, surveyors, etc.
- Have good awareness of H&S regulation & legislation
- Ideally experience of working in the social housing sector on repairs contracts
