Warehouse Operatives required for a temporary – to – permanent contract at a company based in Clutton, near Bristol – BS39
- £11.44 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- 6am – 2pm OR 2pm – 10pm shift pattern
- 30 minute paid break each day – 40 hours paid per week
- Immediate start is available
- Small warehouse with a team of 4 operatives and 1 supervisor per shift
- Goods in – unloading deliveries, checking quantities/condition of stock, record receipt
- Ensure stock is suitably packed and stored in the warehouse, using a hand scanner to capture storage location data
- Picking customer orders, or items required by other branches and ensuring it is suitably, packed, wrapped and/ or palletised ready for despatch
- Assisting customers with orders collected directly from the warehouse
- Loading orders onto company’s own, customers and suppliers vehicles
- Performing stock taking duties as and when required
- Own transport is essential to reach the rural location of this warehouse
- Previous experience in a similar role – picking/packing, dispatch, warehouse etc
- Excellent communication skills, including reading and writing in English
- IT literate
- Comfortable in a role that involves walking, standing, lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching
