This contractor is looking for an experienced construction-biased BID Writer for a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) starting in September 2024 for a period of 9-12 months.

This is an exciting FTC to join a busy BID team and to enjoy working on some amazing construction projects within a lovely office setting.

Duties of the role will include

1. Compilation of Tender Deliverables on bespoke proposal/submission documents to required deadlines.

2. Providing the question-relevant knowledge of the subject matter and work scope detailed in commercial office fit outs, for inclusion in the tender proposal document.

3. Developing articulate, coherent responses to support comprehensive tender and PQQ submissions, utilising written text, photographs, sketches and supporting documents where applicable.

4. Adopting best practice proposal writing techniques to maximise the scoring potential of the submission work to exceed expected quality standards, comply with processes at all times and contribute to improvements.

5. Review and develop any draft responses provided by other members of the project team into submission-ready responses.

6. You will have responsibility for proofreading content whilst providing technical written material.

7. Finalise submission documents in conjunction with the Pre-contracts Manager

8. Business writing skills including the ability to write persuasively, and to articulate others’ knowledge in written form and to articulate large quantities of information in a succinct, summarised manner.

9. Research skills, ability to articulate requirements for visual representation.

Adding value, having a sense of creativity and writing intelligence is a must for this role.
