We are seeking for a Roofer to join our team for social housing repairs contracts.

Here are the details of the position:

Job title: Roofer

Location: North West England, OL9

Type: Contract

Duration: 3 Months

• Start Date: ASAP
• The position is full-time Mon-Fri on site
• Working hours: Mon - Thu 8am to 4pm, Fri 8am to 3.30pm.
• Payrate: £15 per hour PAYE or £25 per hour Umbrella
• Full driving licence required.

About you

• Temp roofer to work on the response repairs contract in the east Manchester area.
• Experience in domestic roofing such as slate and tile repairs, felt and batten replacement, flat roofing repairs or renewals, leadwork, flaunching chimneys and removing stacks.
• Gutter work experience isn't essential but would be an added bonus.
• Carry out inspections of roofs and diagnose remedial repair works on occupied properties.
• Have experience in flat & pitched roof repairs - slate, concrete tiles, felt, etc.
• Be able to work at height safely
• Trained on working on ladders, scaffolds, Tetra systems, etc.
• Be able to work independently.
• Process works via a mobile device.
• Provide good customer service, be able to communicate effectively with residents, planners, surveyors, etc.
• Have good awareness of H&S regulation & legislation, be able to work safely
• Ideally experience of working in the social housing sector on repairs contracts.
