About the Role:
GSL Education are currently recruiting a skilled General Cover Teacher for positions in Newcastle. This role involves covering classes across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher, providing continuity of education for students.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set work to classes across different year groups and subjects.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to the varying needs and learning styles of students.
• Provide feedback on student engagement and understanding.
• Manage classroom resources and ensure a tidy and safe environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Have experience in teaching or cover supervision in a secondary school setting.
• Be flexible and enthusiastic about working with students of various age groups.
• Hold relevant qualifications, such as a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
