A market leading organisation within its field have an exciting opportunity to join there logistics and supply chain department on a 12 month FTC. You will focus on the end-to-end supply chain by making sure products are shipped in a cost effecting way.

Salary - DOE + bonus

Hours - Hybrid working 0830-1700

Your main duties as Supply Chain Analyst are;

  • Review historical trends and data, research market conditions/expectations, and support creation of freight forecast models.
  • Support in generation of future CPU forecasts.
  • Inbound Tracking
  • Actively work with Planning/Sourcing teams to achieve best availability, resolve supply issues, and communicate delays back to the demand planners.
  • Track purchase orders/requisitions until arrival at destination.
  • Monitor and track new product launches ensuring "flawless" launch to market.
  • Working with global purchasing and freight forwarders to secure Container bookings.
  • Supply dating and daily approvals.
  • Obtaining and approving freight quotes.
  • Support Supply Chain Analyst with establishing freight spend forecast
  • Monitor CPU to drive actions where deviation from Annual Operating Plan is identified.
  • Report KPI metrics to the business as required.

To be considered for this role you must have the following experience;

  • Experience of working within Supply Chain
  • Exposure to forecasting, bringing new products to market and freight would be advantageous
  • Previous experience of Oracle and any software applications related to Oracle would be advantageous
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel knowledge including vlookup and pivot tables
