MRP Controller

We are actively seeking a skilled MRP Controller to join a leading Defence company. Our client is looking for an experienced professional to play a crucial role in ensuring efficient materials planning and control, contributing to the success of projects.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the materials planning and control activities to support project requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks
  • Generate and maintain accurate material demand forecasts based on project schedules and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish procurement strategies and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Review and analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update the MRP system accordingly
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in materials planning and control
  • Adhere to quality standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices


Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience using SAP within a Material Planning role
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a material supply or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory management principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records


Please note that this is a 6-month contract position and requires an immediate start.
