Design Authoriser / Design Approver

Paying up to £52p/h DOE (umbrella)

ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who looking for an experienced Design Authoriser /Design Approver to work out of their site based in either Broughton or Filton. As the Design Authoriser /Design Approver, you'll be part of the wing PET Team responsible for providing reactive and proactive line side support to the Plant and enabling Wings to be delivered to the FALs.

Responsibilities:
* Lead, guide approve and/or authorise design solutions for a range of tasks, including (but not restricted to) Major/Minor Design Modifications, Design Query Notes (work's query notes).
* Operate as a design authorisation signatory.
* Ensuring that design standards and requirements are met, liaising with other functions and projects to ensure the design solutions are fully integrated.
* Support and build strong relationships between wider stakeholders including (but not limited to) CVE, Chief Engineer, Configuration Management, and Local Programmes Team to enable a
satisfactory design solution, and implementation on the aircraft that supports airworthiness type cert and configuration management.
Experience required:
* Hold Industry recognized design signatory delegation (Authoriser OR Approver level)
* Experience working in the Aviation sector is required.
* Ideally hold a relevant design or Engineering qualification
* Experience in leading and motivating teams
