About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle. This role involves supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher and ensuring that students engage in productive learning activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes and ensure that students are on task and engaged in their work.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and manage classroom behaviour.
• Provide support to students who may need assistance with tasks.
• Report back on students' behaviour and any issues that arise during the day.
• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Be adaptable and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a genuine interest in supporting the educational development of young people.
