About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Newcastle. This role is suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers who are keen to make a difference in the early stages of children's education.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

• Teach across the primary curriculum and provide a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by organising learning resources and the classroom environment.
• Assessment and reporting on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of one’s assigned pupils.
• Engage with extracurricular activities such as support and club activities, outings, and events.

Primary Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE in Primary Education.
• Experience in teaching at primary level is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
