Behaviour Mentor | Walsall, WS2 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school located in the Walsall area. You will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and success of students who need additional support during their educational journeys. The school is looking for you to join them on a full time basis from September, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs
- Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and deliver support by developing strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes
- Encourage active participation and engagement with learning
- Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience of managing challenging behaviours and good knowledge of behaviour management strategies
- Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential
