Position: Snagging Foreman
Client: Our client is leading residential contractor that develops accomodations to rent.
Role: This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the final stages of construction projects, with a primary focus on snagging. A CSCS card is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Snagging: Lead the snagging process, meticulously identifying and rectifying defects, imperfections, and deficiencies in the finished work to achieve the highest quality standards and client satisfaction.
Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all finishing works meet or exceed project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure the timely completion of snagging works and adherence to project schedules.
Site Supervision: Provide hands-on supervision and direction to finishing trades including carpenters, painters, plasterers, and decorators, to ensure efficient and productive workflow.
Candidate: The successful candidate will work closely with the Site Manager to get through the Snag List and have all properties finished and ready for hand over.
- Work with Site Manager to get properties finished and ready for handover
- All properties must be snag free prior to hand over
- Identify snags and rectify/finish accordingly
- Liaison with sub-contractors/trades for larger snags
- Maintain records, photographs, diaries etc
- Attend site meetings
Must Have: CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid are all essential for the role
