CareerLink have a very exciting new opportunity which has become available based in the WV11 3SQ area. We are recruiting on behalf of one of our large and well-established parcel supply chains.

We are searching for some highly reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to undertake the role of making at least 2 or 3 bulk deliveries and 4-8 collections.

This role would include loading and unloading pallets alongside some hand-balling when arriving at the customers destination. This would involve using the pump truck.

The deliveries and collections would be involved in local areas and it would be within a radius of at least 35 - 40 minute driving.

The start times would vary from the times of 9:30am , 10:00am and 11:00am.

The finish times would be around 7pm.

This role requires a flexible candidate who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the job.

To be considered for the role you must have the following;

• A full HGV Class 1 driving licence , tacho and DQC
• A clean driving licence would be ideal (3 points is the minimum which will be accepted)
• Experience would be ideal however we will accept new passes
• We must require candidates who have confidence in reverse parking into bays
• Must be able to start ASAP.

Benefits of this role;

• This would be a long-term ongoing position with the opportunity of a permanent role after 8 weeks.
• Full time role - Monday - Friday
• 45 minute break however this would be deducted

The pay rate is £15.28 per hour
