Our client, a global leader in Aircraft Landing & Breaking systems, who is currently seeking a skilled and seasoned Production Program Manager (PPM) to join their team. As the Production Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement in the program's industrial performance, ensuring efficient delivery, exceptional quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Act as the key liaison between the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and operations, fostering collaboration across all functions to achieve industrial excellence.
Identify and escalate industrial obstacles to the IPT, coordinating support from various functions to promptly resolve issues.
Communicate and align IPT requirements impacting industrial operations, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
Serve as the primary point of contact for industrial interactions with customers, as required by programs.
Understand and prioritize critical industrial activities within the IPT, particularly in collaboration with Engineering, including cost reduction, manufacturability, and design changes. Validate design changes on behalf of operations.
Continuously enhance the structural industrial performance (delivery, quality) of the program, while not directly responsible for day-to-day execution activities.
Collect, consolidate, and assess risks, developing and evaluating risk mitigation plans.
Manage monthly Overviews of Recovery Measures (OvRMs) during transfers.
Ensure consistent and robust recovery action plans in the event of non-performance.
Verify that manufacturing plans and assembly plans adhere to defined rules and safeguard the program.
Propose adjustments to the buffering policy (Buffer Stock, Buffer Time, Production Plan buffer target) based on performance and risks.
Describe and analyze the program's industrial scheme.
Propose protection plans for high and low scenarios, considering customer logistics conditions.
Lead WHAT-IF scenario assessments.

Candidate Requirements:

Knowledge of Landing Gear products.
Strong understanding of SLS processes.
Familiarity with configuration management.
Basics of MRPII processes.
Experience using ERP systems.
Ability to effectively communicate and articulate a vision.
Strong procurement and purchasing skills.
Proficiency in driving recovery plans during execution.
Financial acumen.
Expertise in project management.
Leadership capabilities.
Customer-oriented mindset.
Cross-functional team management skills.
Proactive and autonomous approach to work.
