Secondary Daily Supply Teacher

GSL Education are looking for Secondary Daily Supply Teachers to provide cover across various subjects in secondary schools in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.
Job Summary: The Secondary Daily Supply Teacher will cover short-term absences of classroom teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring continuity in students' learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of subjects across the secondary curriculum.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Follow the school's policies and procedures for delivering lessons and managing students.
- Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and behavior.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Flexibility and availability to cover on short notice.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Adaptability and resilience in unfamiliar teaching environments.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
