About Us:

Our schools in Braintree are dedicated to providing inclusive and supportive environments where all students can thrive. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN LSA to join our team and help us deliver high-quality education and support to students with SEN.

The Role:

As an SEN LSA, you will work closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to provide targeted support and interventions to students with SEN. Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one support, assisting with classroom activities, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting students with their individual learning goals.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.

- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.

- Support students in developing their social skills, communication skills, and independence.

- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.

- Monitor and track student progress, and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working as an SEN LSA or in a similar role.

- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Empathy and patience when working with students with diverse needs.

- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
