R&D Engineer

A global medical device company in Ireland are looking for an R&D Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role will be design & development of their medical devices in order to take their products to market.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototyping, test design, reviews, evaluations, V&V and protocols
- Preparation & presentation of designs
- Risk analysis & management
- Process development engineering
- Introduce new equipment, materials & technologies
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent degree
- Experience working as an R&D Engineer on medical device products
- Understanding regulatory requirements
- Minimum 1-5 years experience
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
The start date is for ASAP/March. The initial contract length is for 12 months. The role is based in Limerick and will require at least 3 days onsite per week. The rate is between €35 - €60 per hour.
