£50 - £72.50/hour per hour

We are currently working with a global financial institution to recruit a project manager on a day rate contract to work market risk team. You will be responsible for managing and supporting multiple risk and control Transaction Monitoring projects defining the strategy, approach, processes, quality, tools and reporting that provide global risk management consistency and excellence whilst managing and optimising the effectiveness of controls and managing regulatory changes.

To be considered for this role you will be required to have the following skills/experience:

  • 6-10 years relevant work experience in financial services. Ideally in risk and controls.
  • Markets knowledge desirable but not essential if proven project management achievements are demonstrated.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python is desirable but not essential.


This role will be 3 days per week from the office in Belfast. Although this role is initially for 6 months it is highly likely to extend past this.
