LRL are currently recruiting for Slingers to start work at Devonport Dockyard. As a Slinger you will be working on the Dockyard supporting with the maintenance of warships.
Job Details:
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Initial contract is 4 month
- Location: Plymouth (PL2)
- Rates - £23 per hour
Duties
- Working on the Dockyard supporting with the maintenance of warships.
- Sling materials and equipment to facilitate structural alterations and repairs on board ships and submarines
- Transfer equipment within vessels using chain blocks and fleeting techniques.
Essential requirements:
- Slinger qualification such as NVQ, NPORS, CPCS
- Photo ID
- 2 x related work references
- Pass a drug/alcohol test
- Current SC Clearance is advantageous (can be organised if not already held)
